The Battlefield and Tactical Communications & Information Systems (BATCIS) TRINITY Industry Briefing Day

The BATCIS team will be providing an update on the TRINITY project programme of work.

The Industry Brief will share the status of the TRINITY technical and architectural approaches, the operational analysis and further thinking on the acquisition approaches. The event will consist of plenary sessions on the overall programme and focus sessions on the architecture, technical and acquisition approaches.

What is BATCIS

The BATCIS Delivery Team is part of Information Systems & Services (ISS).  BATCIS is responsible for the development, fielding and sustainment of a range of tactical CIS equipment and systems used in the joint Land Environment. The BATCIS portfolio includes Bowman, the Common Battlefield Applications Toolset (ComBAT), Digitisation Infrastructure and Platform Battlefield Information Systems Application (PBISA), all collectively known as BCIP, MORPHEUS, Dismounted Situational Awareness (DSA), the Personal Role Radio, Tactical Ground to Air and Tactical Satellite radios, the MAKEFAST engineer BISA, Falcon and TRINITY.

There will be a maximum of 3 places available for each organisation. Places will be allocated on a priority basis and each organisation should ensure that the most appropriate representatives, who must be security cleared (United Kingdom Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV)), are nominated to attend. When booking for the event you will be asked to nominate your representative for the small group sessions. Refreshments including lunch will be provided throughout the event.
