Force Protection Electronic Counter Measures (FPECM) Delivery Team within the Defence Equipment & Support organisation (DE&S) of the UK Ministry of Defence, has a requirement to replace the current Electronic Counter Measure capability. The new capability will be known as Project CRENIC and shall ensure that UK service personnel continue to be protected from the threat posed by a variety of Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIED).
FPECM (Subject to Contract) intend to shortly publish an advert for a System Integrator (SI) for Project CRENIC. To provide industry with more information on the project and to assist in answering a Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ), a data pack will be made available.
Industry are required to immediately register for the Future ECM Potential Supplier Security Gateway Award Data Room, using the following link: https://award.bravosolution.co.uk/fecm/web/project/103/register
From there, two documents are required to be completed and uploaded so clearance can then commence. Once clearance is authorised, access to all the relevant documentation through the Future ECM Supplier Portal (OFFICIAL SENSITIVE) will be granted.
Noting that access to the Data Pack will be considered for one named individual per company or Business Unit, who is:
- Cleared to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and
- Is a UK National and
- Has signed the Future Defence Electronic Counter Measures Supplier Document User Agreement (available within the Award Data room link)
If a company does not have IT capable of handling Official Sensitive (OS) information.
