Talking Tenders – Doing Business with Defence

The UK Ministry of Defence buys a huge range of goods, works & services annually: spend in Scotland increased for the fifth year running to £1.76 billion in 2018/19. This is up from £1.64 billion the previous year and an increase in per person spend to £320. Additionally, the number of Scottish industry jobs this supports has increased from 10,100 to 10,200.

In order to give businesses, especially Scottish micro, small and medium sized businesses, third sector organisations and supported businesses, a better understanding of how the MOD ‘lets’ contracts for works, goods and services, join the Supplier Development Programme on our Talking Tenders webinar entitled, ‘Doing Business with Defence’.
