RAF Innovation Panel 26 April 2018
Air Command is has established an Innovation Pipeline Process to receive unsolicited business proposals and remove perceived barriers to entry into the Defence sector. The process aims to keep RAF in touch with new ideas, research and technological developments and reach beyond its traditional supplier base. It does this by providing a clear process through which any business can present idea and potentially pitch these direct to senior RAF staff at an Innovation Panel that will sit quarterly. The next Air Command Innovation Panel is scheduled to take place on 26 April 2018.

Submissions targeted at April panel should be submitted by 16 March 18 for consideration.
Defence Themed Pitch@Palace 9.0 On Tour Event
His Royal Highness the Duke of York set up Pitch@Palace as a charitable trust in 2014 to support his work with entrepreneurs. It aims to guide, help and connect early-stage businesses with potential supporters, including CEOs, influencers, investors, mentors and business partners.
Pitch@Palace recently launched Series 9.0, the theme of which is “Data, Intelligence, and The Future of Security”. As part of this a Defence themed On Tour Event is scheduled to take place in London on 31 January 2018.
Winning a place at this On Tour event will give you the chance to test your pitch with key members of the MOD and Defence Industry community, get advice on navigating the UK Defence sector and meet people who as a small company have already made a success of working with Defence

The Defence and Security Accelerator - Innovation events
Through innovation events at MOD we want to encourage innovation in our business and attract new and non-traditional suppliers in to all levels of the defence supply chain.
The Defence and Security Accelerator focuses on innovations which can provide advantage to defence and national security to protect the UK from its adversaries. Part of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), the Accelerator holds regular themed competitions to address specific challenges and offers funding as well as an Enduring Challenge on a more generic basis.
